Nam Song Restaurant Branding | Vietnamese Street Food Experience
Nam Song is a vibrant restaurant chain inspired by Vietnamese street food. We were approached to refresh their current visual identity, aiming to capture the eclectic charm of Vietnamese culture.
Our design incorporated elements of 50’s Americana, Russian and Chinese propaganda, and traditional Asian art, creating a unique blend that mirrors the lively streets of Vietnam.
Central to our approach was the theme of travel and adventure, ensuring the brand evokes the feeling of dining on a bustling street corner—small, unique, and far from corporate.
A distinct visual identity was developed, reflecting the mix of amateur-designed elements and beautifully crafted details found in Vietnamese street culture.
Coffee Branding
A secondary brand style was developed to showcase the coffee side of the business, featuring a vintage aesthetic and custom typeface to complement the Barista culture.
E-Commerce Website Development
The website was later developed into an E-Commerce platform built using WordPress. This expansion introduced a new arm of the business, allowing customers to purchase coffee products, clothing, and vintage Vietnamese prints. Additionally, we implemented a coffee subscription service, enabling customers to enjoy regular deliveries of their favorite blends. This added functionality not only broadened the business’s reach but also enhanced customer engagement, creating a new revenue stream for Nam Song.
