Chapel Walk is one of Sheffield's hidden gems, a 200-year old shopping destination with an eclectic mix of independent businesses hidden behind the city’s main retail drag. Today it's home to brands such as Dr. Martens and Paperchase as well as small independent retailers and makers shops, and a key part of the city’s retail offer.
During development, scaffolding was covering the area and as a result, businesses were struggling. We were asked to help promote the area by creating a brand for Chapel Walk and design a print brochure which would be distributed city-wide. We used the negative image of the scaffold and flipped it into a positive by creating bright patterns and assets which we could use throughout the project.
